It has a nice silkiness to it that feels good on my skin. It absorbs pretty quickly and is sticky for only a little bit.Because skin improvements take time, it will take consistency and regular use for me to notice the brightening effects but with potent ingredients like niacinamide, tranexamic acid, and rice ferment filtrate included, I am confident that this serum will deliver. Retinal is another superstar ingredient that will help reduce the appearance of wrinkles over time.For now, I am enjoying the moisture-boosting benefits from hyaluronic acid, glycerin, collagen, betaine, polyglutamic acid, and beta-glucan.There’s a subtle scent, maybe what I would expect a rice ferment to smell like? 🤷🏻‍♀️I think this could be a good serum for most skin types.

Wish I could rate this lower. I do not recommend at all. I started using it and it made me break out so badly.

I have tried two other serums and this one is my absolute favorite. It’s a bitch thicker than the others, not much of a smell. My skin loves it.It’s like a magical little potion. I can put it a new pimple or blemish of any sort. Whether there’s puss or I can just feel the start of a pimple forming and the next morning it will either vanish or be so much smaller. My skin is brighter and smoother. I’m on my way to glass skin for real.I use it in my nighttime routine and sometimes also in the morning. I alternate with the green arencia serum.It is very much worth the price. I keep it in my cart just to see if there’s ever a deal going on, so I can restock then.I’ve purchased this three or four times now.

New favorite

I really like this serum! Used two bottles and then switched to the Arencia intensive hydration overnight serum but will be switching back to the rice mucin glow serum. The texture is pretty thin so little goes a long way. I use this after misting my skin, using one drop each on my forehead, cheeks and chin I massage in and apply two layers each night. Then I use the Medicube device to help it absorb and by morning, my skin feels supple, glowy/dewy and well hydrated!

Great serum, not sticky but easily able to apply to the skin. No real scent beyond the scent of rice water. Not intensely hydrating, but great for summer months especially as someone oily skin. It did no cause any rashes or breakouts.

I absolutely love how this hydrates my skin.

Saw a difference in a week

Wasn't expecting much from a rice serum, but I am genuinely so glad I tried this. The scent is light and I personally like it. This serum is SO HYDRATING and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. It's a serum that I do like to wash off after using it overnight though. It's not sticky, but I can tell it's not something that likes to sit on my skin for an overly extended period of time.

I may be biased since I really like Arencia products and have been using their wonderful Hyssop Blurring Cream for a while now, but this Rice Mucin Glow Serum is pretty great and a nice compliment to their moisturizers. It has a thin gel consistency and soaks into my skin immediately, leaving it feeling smoothed and nourished. To my nose it has no scent at all. If this came in glass instead of plastic it would be perfect.

I’m happy with this so far. I’m layering it with moisturizer. It absorbs well and leaves a nice glow. I doubt the same does anything but rice water is great for hair so why not skin ?

This is 60.73% sake, according to the ingredient list. To my surprise, I actually really like the feeling of this product on my skin. It gives lightweight moisture and glow. It does have a very faint scent, but it goes away quickly and does not bother my sensitive nose. It absorbs/evaporates quickly and does not leave a sticky finish. I have been using this daily for about 1 month and my skin continues to look great for my age.

I won't lie, I don't think I've necessarily noticed any benefits since adding this into my skin routine, but I haven't noticed any negatives, so I'll continue to use this one until I empty the bottle. Whether or not I'll be repurchasing remains to be seen. I do like the whole gimmick behind these product, though. I love the idea of using rice as an ingredient in skincare and I definitely like the idea of using a rice mucin instead of the more commonly known snail mucin. Love using vegan skincare in general.This serum is nice, though! It has little to no scent and is very neutral. Product absorbs nicely into my skin and my whole routine leaves my skin feeling nice and soft so *I can only imagine that this product plays a part in that. A little pricey but reasonable for the quality, in my opinion.

I thought it was my imagination when I first opened and each time I've used this glow serum that there is a faint smell of cooked rice, it's not at all off putting but it's definitely reminiscent of that scent.The serum absorbs readily and leaves my skin feeling a little plump but not so much moisturized (which is more than ok as this is just a serum and I always moisturize on top). I did not notice any weird "pilling" up when I applied moisturizer and then concealer.

Great personal care product, my wife loved everything about this serum, it will leave your skin hydrated, soft and looking amazing, it has a pleasant soft scent, easy to apply
